Programs in the Community

LIFEcycle is creating some great results for Rhode Islanders. More than a dozen participants have benefited from attending the LIFEcycle Fitness at The Forge program, which offers an introductory resistance training program, free of charge, to bariatric surgery patients and cancer survivors.

Team LIFEcycle: Six members of TLc ran in the Breeze Against Wheeze 5K, hosted by Brown University medical students to support the asthma program at Hasbro Children's Hospital. The team will also be helping out with the Rhode Island Cherry Blossom Festival, in May. TLc athletes will ride along the 15-mile route to help provide motivation and light mechanical support for the riders (like Threshold Cycling does at RRR). Details of the ride are still being finalized, but to learn more about the festival, click here.

If you find yourself in or around one of the Lifespan hospitals during one of the Stress Less Fairs over the next severals weeks, stop by our booth to say hi! (And if you know of similar fairs/events where a LIFEcycle booth may be welcomed, please let us know.)
